After a trespassing scandal, Britney Spears’ former husband Jason Alexander was detained on June 9 at her wedding location. “Everybody was surprised,” a source revealed E! News.
Jason Alexander, the singer’s ex-husband, was jailed on June 9 for intruding on the Los Angeles location where she wedded fiancĂ© Sam Asghari moments later.
“Because no one else is here apart from Sam, I’ve come to interrupt the wedding. What happened to the family?” As per screen footage spreading viral, Jason stated while broadcasting his breach on Instagram Live. “So, here’s some inside information on the wedding that was a sham.”
On Thursday, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department did respond to a trespassing alert, according to E! News. Jason was detained and transferred to a police station after officers discovered he had an out-of-county court order.
According to Napa County Sheriff Department PIO Henry Wofford, the warrant arises from two criminal accusations from 2015: one for petty larceny and the other for purchasing stolen items.
Britney, 40, as well as her close associates, responded to the frightening situation, according to a source who spoke to E! News. “Everybody was taken aback,” the source stated. “Everybody had to stop and talk to guards and police over what transpired, which pushed the wedding timings way behind.”
According to the source, it was a “traumatic day for Britney.”
“He has been detained shackled and arrested for his despicable criminal action,” Mathew Rosengart, Ms. Spears’ attorney, added in a statement to USA TODAY.
Mr. Alexander has a habit of spying around Ms. Spears’ family’s residences, while fully supporting her throughout her contentious conservatorship lawsuit.
Ms. Spears, meantime, married Mr. Asghari on Thursday after approximately six years of dating. They happened to meet during the shooting of a new song in 2016. They declared their commitment in September 2021, two months earlier Ms. Spears happened to win a court dispute involving her family and was discharged from 13-year custody.
