Apple Inc. fixes iOS 8.4 TaiG jailbreak with 8.4.1 update

Latest Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) iOS update 8.4.1 came along with several fixes for the Apple Music and the entire mobile OS that stopped the TaiG iOS 8.4 Jailbreak from happening. Jailbreaking is one of the things that is considered illegal, and if the device is bricked, iPhone-maker won’t be entertaining your warranty.

Jailbreaking requires the iOS to have a loophole to exploit the underlying operating system and have the permission granted for the root access. If looked beyond that, Jailbreaking can open new features for your device. You can manage your springboard the way you want to, have new themes, fonts, colors and much more by using the tweaks available at the Cydia store that gets installed whenever you jailbreak your device.

If you have upgraded to the latest iOS update, then you have to wait till the new jailbreak is out, otherwise you can still stay at the current jailbroken iOS 8 and enjoy the freedom. It is a very tricky process and requires a lot of technical knowledge, and as mentioned above if the device gets damaged internally during the process, Apple will never entertain the warranty on that device.

Other than that, jailbreaking can also invite unwanted malwares and trojans on your system, so it is better not to do something of which you aren’t aware of. Better switch to Android if you want a legal way to do the customization on your smartphone. Play Store has apps that can help you do that without breaking the security.

If you have a computer background, then the jailbreaking a device can help you access the shell on it, and with an SSH or telnet connection iOS Darwin can be easily accessed to execute remote commands on that.

Coming down to what iOS 8.4.1 update has fixed. The first thing Apple did was improving the overall performance of Apple Music and let the lag and iTunes disconnecting errors go away. Next thing in the line was improving the security as of result the iOS 8.4 jailbreaking is gone now. It is very obvious that Apple is going to wipe out the latest Jailbreaking.
