Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor- starrer Baaghi had a roaring start at the worldwide box-office. The film has managed to collect Rs 38.8 crore in opening weekend
The movie was released on a total of 2750 screens across India and 344 screens abroad on April 29.
After the film had earned 23.07 cr in the first two days of its release, the film was expected to cross Rs 35 crore at the domestic box office in its opening weekend. Eventually the expectation was proved right and the movie manage to earn more than 35 cr.
Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to twitter to share the opening weekend collection of the film.

Before this “Baaghi” has also become the third highest opener with 11. of 2016, after shah rukh khan’s Fan (19.20cr) and Akshay Kumar’s “Airlift” {12.30cr). Taran also shared names of the movies who had a great opening weekend in 2016.

Apart from domestic market the film also did good in world market. In UAE the collections of the film were higher than 2 States, ABCD2 and was three times that of what Tiger Shroff’s first film Heropanti had earned.

The film has done a good business in Bihar, Orissa, Rajasthan and Gujarat. It was expected that ‘Baaghi’ will work well in the metropolitan cities of Mumbai and Delhi, but collections have only been fair in the two cities.
Apart from Shraddha and Tiger, the film also stars Telugu actor Sudheer Babu in a pivotal role. Directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi is a romantic-action drama, which narrates the story of two people who turn rebels for the sake of love.
