Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus are latest superstars who would be joining ‘The Voice’, confirmed NBC in News on March 24, 2016.
Keys and Cyrus would be seen taking ownership of their own teams on this hit reality show in the upcoming Season 11. They will join series Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, who appeared all seasons of ‘The Voice’.
A sneak preview of her Voice skills would be provided by Cyrus on March 28, 2016, when she would make her series debut as a guest adviser during the knockout rounds of the competition. For Season 11, she would be a fulltime ‘Voice’ team leader.
It was reported that Pharrell Williams who served as a judge from Season 7 to Season 10 wouldn’t be rejoining the cast for this upcoming season and that Cyrus would replace him.
Soon, this news was confirmed by Cyrus through her Twitter account that Williams had posted his congratulatory tweet to Cyrus.
However, until now it wasn’t known as to who would take the chair of the fourth coach of ‘The Voice,’ which was till now was alternated with Gwen Stefani, in recent seasons.
Now, there was news that Keys, who previously served as a mentor for William’s team during the seventh season of th犀利士
e show would be joining the cast. Previous coaches also include Shakira, Cee Lo Green and Usher.
In a statement, Paul Telegdy stated that the energy and musical expertise of these talented women would bring something very remarkable to the show. Everyone is thrilled that they would be joining Blake and Adam in the magical eleventh season.
