Latest development that has taken place in Sheena Bora Murder case is that Shyamvar Rai former driver of Indrani Mukerjea have been made an approver in the murder case on May 20, 2016.
It’s reported that the driver will reveal the complete detail of the gruesome murder and his role as well as that of others in the crime that shook the nation.
On 21 August 2015, Shyamvar Rai was arrested and after his arrest, the entire Sheena Bora murder was revealed. On 11 May, he appealed to the CBI to sought pardon and wanted to not only cooperate in the case but also turned as an approver for the murder case.
On April 24, 2012, Sheena went missing and in August 2015, the Mumbai Police also arrested her mother Indrani Mukerjea, her stepfather Sanjeev Khanna and driver Rai.
They were charged with abduction, killing and subsequently burning her corpse. Shyambar Rai was not only the first one to be arrested, but he was the one to show cops the site where Sheena body was recovered.
Shyamvar Rai not only revealed that Sheena died because of strangulation but in May he wrote a two-page letter to CBI where he informed them that he was willing to explain his role and that of the others in the Sheena Bora’s murder case.
When Rai sent a plea to the court, the judge asked him to reveal not only his role but also that of others in the killing. The judge said, “You will have to reveal all we need to find out to reach the complete truth of the case.”
Other than this Rai also told the court that he was there at the spot where Sheena was killed and said that he was aware of the acts connected with the commission of the offense and was also a participant in the murder of Sheena Bora.
