Sony targeting US smartphone market with Xperia Z3v for Verizon Wireless

Sony is known for infusing beautiful designs and robust hardware in its devices, but it hasn’t been able to claim its share in the US smartphone market; that is likely to change soon since Sony will launch its new Xperia Z3V smartphone for US’s largest wireless carrier Verizon Wireless. Xperia Z3V that is due October 23 is replete with new exciting features and specifications.

Xperia Z3V will be distributed country-wide by Verizon Wireless and can be bought online and from stores. The Xperia Z3V has been said to have an extended battery life and durable hardware. One feature, the ultra-stamina-mode, will make Xperia Z3V efficient in prolonging battery life.


The Xperia Z3V will have a 5.2 inch hd display, display and sound features like S-Force and X-Reality, wireless charging feature, 4G LTE, Android OS, 32GB built-in memory and 128GB external memory, 4K video resolution and 20.7 MP rear camera. The previously mentioned features make Nokia’s Xperia Z3V an ideal phone to make an official splash in US for the first time.

Moreover, the Xperia Z3V will have PS4 Remote Play Feature, which will make it a PS4 controller, making Xperia Z3V the first phone ever to have a feature for PS4. Verizon will sell the smartphone for $199.99 with a 2 year activation agreement. Moreover, Sony has already collaborated with T-Mobile to launch Sony Xperia Z3 in US, making it the first official launch of Sony’s smartphones in US.
